Trek in Fann mountains with a climbing attempt of Zamok peak (5070) and Energy peak (5120)



Fann Mountains are beautiful mountains, with a few summits above 5000 m, culminating at Chimtarga peak (5489 m). They are located in Western Tajikistan, near the Uzbek border (and Samarkand). They usually enjoy sunny, stable weather during the summer. The Fann Mountains have recently been "discovered" by western trekking agencies.  We offer you one of the most picturesque treks with the opportunity to attempt two peaks in the area Zamok, peak (5070) and Energy peak (5120м).

Chimgan-Beldersay is the most famous natural area in Uzbekistan, which is located in the mountains of Western Tien-Shan (90 km far from Tashkent). Chimgan in the best way approaches for photo leisure with families and children, Beldersay is more appropriate for hiking and trekking with your cameras. The most interesting areas for touring are situated between 2000-2500 m.

Sketch itinerary 2017

Day 01. Arrival in Tashkent. Meeting at the airport, transfer in Chimgan. Arrangements with an accommodation. If the time allows - walking tour around Chimgan Resort area.

Day 02. Early in a morning an ascent to the Western Ridge of Chimgan 2350 m. Majestic panorama of Ugam, Pskem and Koksu ranges of the West Tien Shan surrounding Charvak water reservoir opens up from this point. Descent to Chimgan. Return to hotel.

Day 03. Transfer in Beldersay. Ascent to the highest point of Kumbel peak (2880 m.) with the chair lift. Descent is carried out from mountain Kumbel, which slopes in have smoothed relief (steepness up to 30 degrees) without deep gorges and canyons. Archa and the deciduous woods grow on slopes alternating with open glades. Going up to the top of Kumbel mountain is carried out by chair lift road (length 2250 m). Return to hotel in Chimgan.

Day 04. Going up by a good path to the Pesochniy pass (1,832 m). Descending to the gorge of the Gulkamsay river. After rest in the birch grove go through one of the most beautiful places in the mountains of Uzbekistan - the Gulkam canyon. Canyoning. After rest - climb back to the Pesochniy pass (1,832 m), then ascent to the Smaller Chimgan Peak (2,100 m). Panorama of Ugam, Pskem and Koksu ranges. Descent to Chimgan. Return back to hotel.

Day 05. Early morning pilgrimage to Kyzyl-Jar peak (1,866 m), for a spectacular sunrise over the Greater Chimgan 3309 m. Descent to Chimgan. Walk through the Ak-Sai gorge. Return to hotel.

Day 06. Departure by car to Tashkent along the Charvak artificial lake. The road goes around the lake through the Brichmulla-Nanai area, which incorporates villages, situated in the south-east of the Charvak water reservoir at 960 m. You vill have a look Brichmulla and other villages in the area: Yakkatut, Yanghikurgan, Yusufhona, Yubileiniy, Baladala, Bogustan, and Nanai people. A great majority of population are ethnic tajiks. We will finish our excursion in Khodjikent, place of ancient market with ancient platans and rock paintings. Arrive to Tashkent train station. Leave for Bukhara by the night train.

Day 07.
07.00 Meeting at the Kagan train station. Transfer to Bukhara. A breakfast in hotel;
09.00 Excursion across Bukhara;
19.00 Transfer to train station;
20.50 Train to Samarkand.

Day 08.
01.40 Arrival in Samarkand. A meeting at train station, transfer to hotel.

We start with Pamir, here are located four recommended in 2018 7000+ peaks:
- Muztagh-Ata peak - 7546 m. – Bishkek-Bishkek expedition 3200 USD per pax or Kashgar-Kashgar 2950 USD per pax. This mountain peak is one of the most easily achievable peaks in the world and is of particular interest to skiers, as a climb to the top can be made with the use of skitouring equipment.

There an opportunity to join us in affordable, of 44 or 30 days program for climbing Communism Peak and/or Korzhenevskaya Peak in 2018.

- Communism Peak 7495 m. – Dushanbe-Dushanbe expedition (2500 USD per pax)

Annapurna Base Camp Trekking Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu [1,300m/4,264ft]
Upon arrival in Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be warmly greeted by our representatives. After completion of official formalities, we pick our luggage and head towards a 4 star category hotel where you will be transferred to stay overnight.

Day 02: Full day Kathmandu sightseeing and trek preparations
You will be woken up with a morning call along with bed tea and breakfast. Today, we will enjoy sightseeing around Kathmandu the entire day including visits to some of the major places of the city such as Pashupatinath, Swayambhunath, Boudha and so on. These sites have been listed as World Heritage Sites by the UNESCO. We get back to our hotel in late evening and stay overnight

Day 03: Kathmandu – Pokhara [823m/2,700ft]; 30 minutes by flight or 6 hours by bus – Ghandruk [1,940m/6,360ft]; 6 hours
We take a scenic journey from Kathmandu to Pokhara today. As soon as we arrive in this city, we are greeted by beautiful views of some of the Nepalese mountains such as Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, Machapuchhre, the five peaks of Annapurna Region and several others. We then drive to Naya Pool and then start our trek until Ghandruk. Camp or teahouse overnight

Day 04: Ghandruk – Chhomrong [2,170m/7,120ft]; 5 hours
Starting our trek from Ghandruk today, we climb up the ascent for an hour and arrive in Ghandrukkot. We continue our journey through the ascent and arrive in Chhomrong. This is a beautiful village located in the laps of the giant Annapurna massif. Camp or teahouse overnight

Day 05: Chhomrong – Dovan [2,580m/8,460ft]; 6 hours
We head our way through the banks of Modi Khola. We cross a suspension bridge after some time and trek up to Sinuwa Danda. Our path from this point decreases a little bit of elevation. We make our way through a beautiful lush forest of Rhododendron in Khuldighar. We continue our journey and reach Dovan shortly. Camp or teahouse overnight

Day 06:Dovan – Deurali [3,230m/10,595ft]; 4 hours
We make our first move with a gentle gradual ascent. Lush forests of oak, pines and rhododendron comes in our way. We walk through Hotel Himalayan and bridges over two streams. There are possibilities that we gain views of wild lives such as wild pigs, deer, and maybe even snow leopards. Our further path takes us to Deurali. Camp or teahouse overnight

Day 07:Deurali – Machapuchhre Base Camp [3,700m/12,135ft]: 3 - 4 hours
This beautiful day greets us with fresh rays of morning light. With a gradual climb, we go through some areas that are prone to avalanches. We need to be cautious and careful all the way. We shortly arrive at Bagar and make our ultimate destination to Machapuchhre Base Camp. This viewpoint offers breath taking views of Mount Machapuchhre. Camp overnight

Day 08:Machapuchhre Base Camp – Annapurna Base Camp [4,130m/13,545ft]; 2 – 3 hours
The route from Machapuchhre Base Camp, vegetation vanishes. This simply means that we have entered the area of snowy lands. Also will have entered the Annapurna Sanctuary which is a protected area in the Annapurna Himalaya Region. We plan out to trek until the Annapurna Base Camp. Camp overnight

Day 09:Annapurna Base Camp – Bamboo [2,310m/7,575ft]; 6 hours
We start our day with fresh morning rays of light. We then start our way with descends from Annapurna Base Camp. Passing through some of the most beautiful places of the country such as Deurali and Dovan, we trek until we reach Bamboo. Camp or teahouse overnight

Day 10:Bamboo – Jhinu Dada [1,760m/5,770ft]; 6 hours
From Bamboo, we start our journey and climb the ascent to lower Chhomrong through Kuldi Ghar and Sinuwa. The elevation from lower region of Chhomrong takes us to the upper region of the place. We then further descend making our way to Jhinu Danda. Camp or teahouse overnight

Day 11:Jhinu Dada – Naya Pool[2,070m/6,791ft]; 6 hours – Pokhara; 1 hour
After an early breakfast we start our trek and reach Kyumi Village. After having our lunch here, we trek to Syauli Bazaar and then to Birenthanti. Then with an hours of trek from Birenthanti, we head up to Naya Pool and end our trek here. We then take a bus to Pokhara that takes an hour to reach. Hotel overnight

Day 12: Pokhara – Kathmandu
We weave the journey of this day by returning back to Kathmandu from the beautiful Pokhara. By this time of the entire trek, we will have spent a long period of unforgettable memories. It will have been one of the best holiday of your life. Hotel overnight

Day 13:Free day in Kathmandu
You will be offered with a leisure day in the Kathmandu city this day. You can either go for a short sightseeing tour around the city or even do shopping as per your interest. We get back to our hotel in the late evening and enjoy a cultural show along with a farewell dinner in our hotel.

The Chimgan Mountains are invariably attractive for mountaineers. The wide variety of Chimgan and its surroundings allows the activity in all kinds of mountaineering and landscape tourism. Mountains (Small and Greater Chimgan Peaks - 3,309 m) of Chatkal range, plateaus, the Black Waterfall (40 m) at the lower part of Greater Chimgan Peak, Gulkam waterfalls, attract a lot of tourists from Uzbekistan and abroad.

Day 1. Driving from Tashkent through the Galvasay village to the recreation zone "Chimgan" at the foothill of the Chatkal range in the West Tien Shan (100 km, 1,5 hours, 1,300 m). Going up by a good path to the Pesochniy pass (1,832 m). Descending to the gorge of the Gulkamsay river. After lunch in the birch grove go to Vodoprovod (the snowfields of Kuyluksay). Camp. Nicht in the tent.
 
Day 2. After breakfast go through one of the most beautiful places in the mountains of Uzbekistan - the Gulkam canyon to Kuyluksay canyon. Rock chap at times converging up to 5 m having numerous small waterfalls, baths, rock gorges and with frequent wades can be walked through in 2 hours. Lunch can be organized at the end of canyon. After rest - going downstream the Gulkamsay river to the water intake near the country road. Departure by car to Tashkent along the Charvak water reservoir. Majestic panorama of Ugam, Pskem and Koksu ranges of the West Tien Shan surrounding Charvak water reservoir opens up from the road.

The Jomsom Muktinath Trek divides trekking as 2 nights of stay in Kathmandu, 9 days of trekking after that and 2 nights in Pokhara in the third phase with total days of 14. We leave the hotel and get transferred to the airport. Making a short flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara, we start the initial phase of our trekking part. We trek from Pokhara to Tikhedhunga that roughly takes 4 – 5 hours. We stay at a teahouse there

Day 04: Tikhedhunga – Ghorepani [2,750m/9,020ft]; 6 – 7 hours
The path from Tikhedhunga falls down and crosses the Burungdi Khola. Then the route climbs high up to a village named Ulleri. With continuous walk, we arrive at Ghorepani which is a beautiful place with numerous small shops that can provide you basic items. This site is comparatively higher than the previous one, so, we experience chilly winds in late evening. Camp or teahouse overnight

Day 05: Ghorepani – Tatopani [1,190m/3,904ft]; 5 – 6 hours
On the way to Tatopani, we make a steep descend to Sikha which a large village. Then we further descend to Ghar Khola Village. After crossing a suspension bridge there, we climb towards Tatopani. The name in Nepali means ‘Hot Water’. The place gets its name from the hot water springs that exists in this place. Teahouse overnight

Day 06: Tatopani – Ghasa [2,110m/6,922ft]; 5 – 6 hours
The path today follows the Kali Gandaki River that flows under a deep George. Passing through Dana, Rupse and Kopchepani, we ascend to the Thakali village Ghasa. This place is considered to be a paradise for bird watchers.

Day 07: Ghasa – Marpha [2,680m/8,792ft]; 4 – 5 hours
We leave Ghasa and cross the Lete Khola that takes us to Lete. We then meet the eastern part of Kali Gandaki and reach Larjung village. Then we cross Tukuche where apple farm projects exists that produce apple and vegetables for the entire region. Then we finally arrive in Marpha. Camp or teahouse overnight

Day 08: Marpha – Kagbeni [2,810/9,218ft]; 4 – 5 hours
Our walk continues along the valley side gradually gaining altitude before crossing a low ridge that takes us to Jomsom. The path from Jomsom becomes windy even during the day time. We cross the Ekley Bhatti village. We rest in this place for some time and after an hour of walk, we reach Kagbeni that lies on the banks of two rivers.

Day 09: Kagbeni – Muktinath [3,710m/12,170ft]; 5 – 6 hours
This day will take you to an outrageous place name Muktinath. It is one of the holiest site for both Hindu as well as Buddhist followers. It is believed that if you take a holy bath here, we will be free from all your sins and in addition, your wishes will be fulfilled.

Day 10: Muktinath – Jomsom [2,715m/8,910ft]; 5 – 6 hours
The waterspouts, the Buddhists temple, and the Muktinath temple itself is a very ideal site to visit. Also from here, you can enjoy superb views of the Dhaulagiri Peak. Today, we trek back to Jomsom that takes 5 – 6 hours by foot.

Day 11: Jomsom – Pokhara
From Jomsom, we take a short scenic flight to Pokhara. This city is a paradise for tourists with major places such as the Lake Site and Sarangkot. Hotel overnight

Day 12: Pokhara – Kathmandu
We take another flight this day again from Pokhara to the capital city of the country; Kathmandu. You can also take a scenic drive rather, that takes 6 hours of time. Hotel overnight

Day 13: Free day in Kathmandu

If you feel that mountain peaks, up to 7000 m tall, are of your abilities, then you are ready to make a step on a track of "the Snow leopard». Itinerary

Day 1. Saturday
Arrival to Manas International airport (Bishkek) by one of the morning flights. Transfer (about 7 hours) to Karkara base. Breakfast on the way.

Day 2-6.
8.30 - breakfast
10.00 - departure to the riding area. Riding.
About 12-00 Lunch
17-00 – return to the Karkara base.
19-00 - dinner

Day 7. Friday.
8.30 - breakfast
10.00 - departure to the riding area. Riding.

16.00 – return to the Karkara base.
19.00 transfer to the airport.

Day 8. Saturday.

Price of the program in 2020: 4800 USD.

The price includes:
- 8 hours of helicopter time for riding
- Accommodation in twin ethno-rooms of "Karkara" mountain base – 6 nights;   
- All group transfers mentioned in the program (Bishkek airport - Karkara base; Karkara base -  Bishkek airport); 
- Full board   
- Service of professional heliski-guides; 
- Using of avalanche equipment: sensors (transceivers), ABS backpacks, shovels, probes.

- Additional expenses caused by bad weather conditions, airport time-table changes, equipment breakage, illness etc;

- Insurance. To participate in the program each one must have insurance policy which allows helicopter flights and off-piste riding. The sum insured must be at least 10.000 USD. In the absence of an insurance policy, the participant is not allowed to fly by helicopter. The Deposit amount is not refundable.

Additional program conditions:
- group must consist of at least 13 people; 
- the heli-ski routes are chosen by the guides and depend on the group riding level, weather and snow conditions;
- the program is planned for good weather; 
- we will refund unused money in case of bad weather conditions or danger; 
- we do not refund money back to the client in case riding failed because of other reasons, such as broken equipment, illness, late take-off or early landing, caused by the participant.

Heliski in Suusamur



Suusamyr is situated in 130 km from Bishkek city and is located between two ridges: Kyrgyz ridge from the North and Suusamyr-Too from the South. The altitude of the skiing area is 2200-2600 m with surrounding mountain peaks with altitude of near to 4500 m. This area attracts by the powder & great opportunities for of off-piste skiing.

In Kyrgyzstan there are three seven-odd thousand metres high (“seventhousander”) of five in former Soviet Union, now CIS. One of them is - Lenin peak (7134 m). It is the most affordable of seventhousanders for ascent. Khan-Tengri peak indescribable beautiful. For the high altitude climbers, this peak is one of the few in the world, on top of which everyone wants to visit.
