This trek is an excellent addition to visiting the historical cities of Uzbekistan. The mountains of Uzbekistan are beautiful, but still inferior to the beauty of the Fann Mountains. Over the five days that you may spend in Tajikistan you will see much more beauty of nature than at the same time in any of the accessible mountainous regions of Uzbekistan. Fann Mountains – Route FT9 – Bodhona. Program of 8 days trek for the fixed dates: 24.06-1.07, 28.06-5.07, 8.07-15.07, 17.07-24.07, 5.09-12.09, 15.09-22.09.
1 Day. Departure from Samarkand. Early in the morning – meeting at border with Tajikistan. Transfer to a kishlak of Shurnash, supper, night in national house.
2 Day. Climbing under Talbas pass upstream the rivers Pasrud by kishlaks of Pasrud, Marguzor and Sanga-Safed. Night in tents.
3 Passing through Talbas (3700 m. 1А), descent to Alaudinsky lakes. Night in tents.
4 Day. Alaudinsky lakes. Radial hike under Chimtarga peak. Return to tents on Alaudinsky lakes. Night at tents.
5 Day. Passing through Alaudin pass (3700). Descent to Kulikalon lakes (2950 m.). Night in tents.
6 Day. Rest day at Kulikalonsky lakes.
7 Day. Move through Chukurak lake to Artuch camp. Transfer to Pendjikent.
8 Return to Samarkand.
