Day 1. Arrival, Meeting at the airport.  Transfer by the snowmobile to the “Avachinsky” pass.1 hour by the snowmobile. 

Night 1. At the camp “Avachinsky”.

Day 2. Transfer by the snowmobile to the valley of the “Nalichevo” river. Accommodation at the camp “Nalichevo”. 2-4 hours by the snowmobile. During the trip you will enjoy beautiful view of the “Nalichevo” valley and “Koryaksky” volcano.  

Night 2. At the “Nalichevo” camp.

Day 3. Transfer to the camp “Talovskie” spring. 1-2 hours by the snowmobile.

Night 3. At the camp “Talovskie” spring.

Day 4. Radial ski trip to the “Dzenzur” Volcano.

Night 4. At the camp “Talovskie” spring.

Day 5. Radial ski trip to the “Jupanovsky” Volcano.

Night 5. At the “Nalichevo” camp.

Day 6. Radial ski trip to the “Vershinskaya” hill.

Night 6. At the “Nalichevo” camp.

Day 7. Radial ski trip to the Arik or Aag. Usually there is very good snow.

Night 7. At the “Nalichevo” camp.

Day 8. Rest.

Night 8. At the “Nalichevo” camp.

Day 9. Transfer by the snowmobile from the “Nalichevo” camp to the “Avachinsky” pass.

Night 9. At the camp “Avachinsky”.

Day 10. Climb to the “Avachinsly” Volcano. Walk 5-7 hours from the camp to the top of the Volcano. Difference 1800 m. As usually, at the top of the volcano, the snow is very hard and unfit for downhill.  But the thing is worth the effort.  You will be on the top of active volcano .  The crater is full of clinker after eruption in 1991 year. At the top of the Volcano you will need to use crampons, move with safety equipment. 

Night 10.At the camp “Avachinsky”.

Day 11. Rest day.

Night 11. At the camp “Avachinsky” or in the city.

Day 12. Transfer from the camp. Departure.

Description:

Arrival. Meeting at the airport and transfer to the sledge, place where you will seat to the snowmobile. It is in 10 km away from the airport. On the way you can visit food stores. 

Transfer to the “Avachinsky” pass. It is located besides “Koryaksky” and “Avachinsky” Volcano. Accommodation at the camp. 25 km (40-60 min.) by snowmobile.  Sometimes It will be necessary to use sledge, or to ski in tow.  It is not difficult and very interesting. Mostly snowmobile routes, during the whole trip, will be in tow. It requires from tourist good ski skills. 

Accommodation at the camp “Avachinsky”. It is small houses with bunk bed.  WC and bathroom out of doors. 

The next day transfer to the “Nalichevo” river’s valley. Accommodation at the camp “Nalichevo”. It will be necessary to use own sleeping bag. WC and bathroom and Russian baths out of doors.  Hot mineral springs. 

The next day transfer to the Dzenzur Volcano. Near to the “Talovsky” cordon you will have a test skiing.    Relax in the hot mineral spring. During next days we will have radial one day tours. 

Take a rest on the 8th day of your trip. The next day you will have not easy climb to the “Avachinsky” Volcano, 2741m high. For this climbing it is necessary to have good conditioning. 

You can skiing from the top of the Volcano. 

Safety:

Our journey is an extreme type of rest.  Therefore our guides will do everything to make your vocation comfortable and safety. On your’s part is necessary to observe the safety rules and guide’s directions. During the whole trip you will be accompany with professional rescue team.

*It can be changed for “Glinyanaya” hill, “Cherelchik” hill, “Babiy Kamen” hill because of weather, snow condition and at the customer’s option.

Important: It is a standard program. It can be changed in compliance with your conditioning and at the customer’s option. We offer 4 levels’ routes: 1-st level – beginner, 2nd level – trained, 3rd-advanced, 4th – expert . Note: The program can be changed during the tour because of weather, snow condition.

Level 1(beginner). Mountain peaks with 500 m. Difference, with ski-tours (30 minutes)

–“Moroznaya” hill, 40 minutes’ journey from the town. (half way lifting on the chair (cable way to the “Moroznaya” base) (differences: 500 m on the cable way + 300 m on ski). Free ride or ski run. It is necessary for warm-up or it can be recommended to pass the time during bad weather.

  

– “Chirelchik” hill, 50 km away from the town (1 hour journey from the town, difference 700 m.) Free ride. At the bottom road through the “stone birch”.

–“Glinyanaya” hill, half way lifting (difference 1000 m). 60 km away from the town, 1 hour journey. Free ride.

 

–“Gorelaya” hill, half way lifting (difference 1000 m.). 70 away from the town,  1 hour journey.  Free ride.

– “Krasnaya” hill, within the city, «Krasnaya» hill base (difference 350 m , lifter). Free ride and ski run. It is necessary for warm-up or it can be recommended to pass the time  during bad weather. 

Level 2(trained). Mountain peak with difference 1000-1200 m. Free ride.

–“Gorelaya” hill. 70 km away from the town, 1 hour journey. Difference 1000 m.  On the peak you will have good choice of ski run N-W, W,  SW. You will always have a good snow. Recommended.  

  –“Babiyi kamen” hill. 70 km away from the town, Paratunka river’s valley, 1.5 hours journey. Difference  1000 м. Only on choice of ski run.  Usually, there is a lot of snow and no road sometimes. You can meet a bear here. 

  

– “Glinenaya” hill, 60 km away from the town. Difference 1000 м. Here you will have several choices of ski run: as for beginner as for expert.

Level 3(advanced). Mountain peak with difference till 2500 m. Free ride. 

–“Avachinsky” Volcano.  2741 m high. Two days. 30 km away from the town. Night at the camp (Avachinsky pass),  900 m. altitude.  Climbing on the road 1 B. It will take 4-7 hours, difference 1800 m. As usually, at the top of the volcano, the snow is very hard and unfit for downhill.  But the thing is worth the effort.  You will be on the top of active volcano .  The crater is full of clinker after eruption in 1991 year.  –“Koselsky” Volcano. In 30 km away from the town. Two-day route. 2190 high, 1. 1 hour journey by car, than 4-5 hours by ski or snowmobile (for additional payment), night at a height of 800 m. at the tent or in the house. In the morning you will climb to the top (800 m. more). It will take 4-7 hours. Difference 1300 m. It is dormant volcano, nevertheless is very beautiful. Usually here is very good snow, but more wild because of nook. Sometimes is necessary to use crampons, move with safety equipment. 

 

 –“Volyuchinsky” Volcano. 2173 m. high. Two-day route. 90 km. away from the town, 2-3 hours journey by car to the base camp. Night the comfortable  recreational  area, in 10 km. away from the Volcano .Difference 1900 m. It will take 4-8 hours to climb to the top of the Volcano.  At the top, quite possible, , you will need to use crampons, move with safety equipment . It is very beautiful mountain, great view. At the base camp you will enjoy thermal spring . 

 

Level 4(expert). Technical ski-mountaineering. Difference 1200-2500 m. Free ride. 

–“Koselsky” Volcano. In 30 km away from the town. Two-day route. 2190 high, 2A, West counterforce.  To the base camp 4-5 hours on ski or by snowmobile (for additional price), night at a height of 800 m. at the tent or in the house. In the morning you will climb to the top (800 m. more). It will take 6-8 hours.  The most interesting thing of the program is a rock area with 2-3 rope on the high 1400 m. 

– SPECIAL OFFER. “Avachinsky” Volcano from the north.  Night at the camp (Avachinsky” pass, 900 m. Altitude.  Climb through the glacier, on the high 2000 m.  The relief change every year.  As usually, at the top of the volcano, above 2200 m. the snow is very hard. 

 

–“Koryakskyi” Volcano. (3456 m.)  Two days. Night at the camp (Avachinsky pass), 900 m. altitude.  2A route, takes 7-12 hours. It is necessary to use crampons, safety equipment.  There is different snow, sometimes with ice and rocks. The descent is possible just after the test climbing at another, more easy mountain, for example at the nearest Avachinsky. 

Note: level 4 is possible only after test climbing on the level 3.  Optional, late in the day, you can spend time at the thermal spring . During bad weather we offer you skiing at “Moroznaya”, “Krasnaya” sopka.
