Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival & Transfer to Shurnash

Meet at the Tajikistan border and transfer to the mountain village of Shurnash. Traditional dinner and overnight in a local house.

Day 2 – Trek to Talbas Pass Approach

Begin trekking along the Pasrud River, passing remote villages like Pasrud and Marguzor. Camp in the alpine zone.

Day 3 – Talbas Pass (3700 m) → Alaudin Lakes

Cross your first high pass with breathtaking views. Descend to the stunning turquoise Alaudin Lakes. Camp by the water.

Day 4 – Exploration Day (Chimtarga Views)

Radial hike toward Chimtarga Peak (5489 m). One of the most scenic viewpoints in the region. Return to camp.

Day 5 – Alaudin Pass (3700 m) → Kulikalon Lakes

Another spectacular crossing leads you to the vast Kulikalon basin — a paradise of alpine lakes surrounded by granite walls.

Day 6 – Rest Day at Kulikalon Lakes

Relax, swim, explore or take optional hikes. A perfect moment to absorb the silence and beauty of the Fann Mountains.

Day 7 – Chukurak Lake → Artuch Camp → Pendjikent

Descend past Chukurak Lake to Artuch base camp. Transfer to Pendjikent.

Day 8 – Return to Samarkand

Drive back to Samarkand, completing your mountain adventure.
