Full Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival in Dushanbe → Transfer to Alaudin Base Camp (2,630 m)

Your adventure begins in Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan.

After arrival:

  • Breakfast and briefing

  • Departure by 4×4 vehicles into the mountains

  • Scenic drive through tunnels, gorges, and dramatic Pamir-Alay landscapes

By afternoon, you reach Alaudin Base Camp, located in a stunning alpine valley.

Evening includes:

  • Camp setup in tents

  • Welcome meeting

  • Safety and trekking briefing

Day 2 – Alaudin Lakes Exploration → Chapdara Viewpoint (3,250 m)

Today you begin your first trekking experience in the Fann Mountains.

Route highlights:

  • Trek to the famous Alaudin Lakes

  • Observe incredible water colors: turquoise, deep blue, emerald

  • Views of snow-capped peaks and fast mountain rivers

Optional ascent toward Chapdara viewpoint (3,250 m).

Return to base camp for rest and acclimatization.

Day 3 – Alaudin Pass (3,700 m) → Kulikalon Lakes (2,800 m)

One of the most iconic trekking days.

  • Start with relaxed breakfast

  • Luggage transported by pack animals (donkeys)

  • Ascent to Alaudin Pass (3,700 m)

From the pass:

  • Panoramic views of Chapdara Peak (5,200 m)

  • Legendary route associated with Alexander the Great

Descent to the magical Kulikalon Lakes system, surrounded by vertical rock walls.

Day 4 – Kulikalon Lakes Exploration

A day dedicated to immersion and discovery.

  • Explore multiple alpine lakes

  • Walk along the shoreline reflections of massive rock walls

  • Photography, relaxation, optional hikes

Evening:

  • Campfire under a star-filled sky

  • Deep silence of high mountains

Distance: 4–9 km (flexible)

Day 5 – Return via Alaudin Pass (3,800 m)

Today you cross the highest pass of the program.

  • Trek back toward Alaudin Gorge

  • Pass near the imposing Maria Mirali Range (~5,200 m)

A day of strong mountain scenery and rewarding physical effort.

Day 6 – Mutnye Lakes (3,650 m) → Return to Base Camp

A spectacular glacier lake day.

  • Trek toward Mutnye Lakes, formed by glacial activity

  • Views of Chimtarga Peak (5,489 m) and surrounding glaciers

Return to base camp for final night in the mountains.

Meals: Breakfast/Dinner at base + snacks


Day 7 – Transfer to Samarkand (Uzbekistan)

Leave the mountains and enter history.

  • Morning departure

  • Cross Tajikistan–Uzbekistan border

  • Transfer to Samarkand, one of the greatest Silk Road cities

Evening:

  • Walk through historical center

  • Farewell dinner

Day 8 – Departure

Transfer to airport after breakfast.

End of the program.
