This high-altitude adventure is designed for travelers with moderate trekking experience and good physical fitness. The journey begins with gentle acclimatization in the Kozho-Kelen Gorge and Alay Valley, gradually leading to the challenging yet exhilarating ascent to Yukhin Peak near the legendary Lenin Peak.

Program Highlights

Day 1 – Osh to Kozho-Kelen Village: Travel 100 km through stunning mountain scenery, visit Papan Reservoir, and enjoy an acclimatization hike to the Blue Grotto and waterfall. Overnight in a guest house.

Day 2 – Kozho-Kelen to Dzhiptyk Pass: Trek along a roaring mountain river through “jailoo” valleys, arriving at the tent camp under a starry sky.

Day 3 – Dzhiptyk Pass to Alay Valley & Achyk-Tash Base Camp: Cross Dzhiptyk Pass (4185 m), enjoy views of the Alay Valley, and descend to Achyk-Tash Base Camp (3600 m) for dinner and rest.

Day 4 – Acclimatization Hike to Petrovsky Peak Ridge (4200 m): Optional hike for summit views or rest at base camp.

Day 5 – Achyk-Tash Base Camp to Traveler’s Pass and Camp 1: Ascend to Traveler’s Pass (4150 m) with panoramic views of Lenin Glacier, then continue to Camp 1 along the left moraine.

Day 6 – Yukhin Peak Ascent (5130 m) and Return to Camp 1: Conquer Yukhin Peak, witness majestic Lenin Peak, and return to Camp 1. No technical climbing required.

Day 7 – Camp 1 to Achyk-Tash Base Camp: Descend along scenic trails for rest and a celebratory dinner at the base camp.

Day 8 – Achyk-Tash Base Camp to Osh City: Return to Osh, relax, explore the local bazaar, and enjoy a final lunch.
